Melon Game Jam is the first game event which will be held by Melon Gaming Limited, the company behind the most lightweight yet powerful HTML5 based game engine, melonJS. The registration is opened and we are inviting all of you, programmers, artists, musicians and anybody who is passionate about game to participate in this event. We would like to bring together all kinds of creative minds to work hand in hand with inventive people from the game developer scene using our game platform.

Participants will develop games using melonJS game engine in 72-hours and anybody can join either as an individual or as a team with maximum 4 people. This exciting event focuses on social feature through the Instant Games API in whichever fields you like, be it action, puzzle, plat former, RTS, etc. It will be held in our beloved city of Jakarta.

This is how it will go down: All participants will gather in one location for a casual kickoff event. We will help you to adapt yourself with melonJS and will help you to set up your temporary headquarter in the facilities. And another fun part is: there will be endless food and snacks to keep you energize during the event and also rest area to ease your mind or maybe to find inspiration and recharge your body.

This is an opportunity for you to create connections and meet interesting people from game industry. On the first day of game jam, you will receive introduction and tutorials by melonJS founder himself, Olivier Biot from France and our game engineers. On the next two days, hundreds of gamers will gather and visualize their creativity to develop games.
